Tribal 365 v1.2 Release Notes

Bison Tech Solutions is publishing an update of the Tribal 365 – Member Management application. This release continues our commitment to delivering powerful, user-friendly tools for Tribal Enrollment staff to manage their membership database. With this update, users will experience improved performance, new data management features, and enhancements designed to simplify everyday tasks.

Release Notes Overview

Tribal 365 V1.2 introduces the ability to purchase Tribal 365 directly from the Microsoft Marketplace (AppSource) as well as usability improvements, expanded functionality for member and tribe management, and several bug fixes to improve stability and reliability. This post outlines a summary of changes in the application as Release Note document available for customers.

New Features

• Enhanced Online Help Content – Expanded and clarified help topics to assist users with common membership management tasks.

• Tribe Address Defaults – The Tribe record now automatically sets the default address with latitude and longitude coordinates, improving accuracy for mapping and reporting.

• Tribal ID Card Details – Added a new feature to capture and manage detailed information for Tribal ID cards.

• Change Request Enhancements – Change Requests now display related document requirements, helping staff ensure all required documentation is provided.

• Microsoft Marketplace Licensing – Changes to allow Tribes to purchase Tribal 365 directly from Microsoft.  Summary of the licensing includes:

• Tribal 365 – Organization Base – Purchase 1 for the entire organization.  This includes the base features of Tribal 365.  Assign the license to your Tribal IT Administrator, or a Bison Tech Solutions Administrator can serve this role.

• Tribal 365 – Member Management Full Access – Purchase as many full access licenses needed for your Enrollment staff or others that need full read/update permissions to the data. 

• Tribal 365 – Read Only Access – Purchase as many read-only access licenses needed for your Tribal Government staff or leadership that only need full read permissions to non-sensitive data.

Bug Fixes

• Contact Module Defaults – Fixed an issue where the “BQ Calculate App” setting did not correctly default to “No.”

• Additional backend and interface improvements to ensure consistent data handling and smoother user interaction.

• Minor interface updates and performance tuning across Member and Tribe modules.

• Improved stability and faster load times for high-volume membership lists.
